Please be sure to select the appropriate submission form below for your type of submission. There are separate submission forms for conference papers and panel proposals.

Please select this option to submit a conference paper to the 84th ASA Annual Meeting.

The word limit for conference papers is 3000 words and each paper must be accompanied by an abstract (150 words max) in a separate file. Both papers and abstracts must be PDF files and prepared for anonymous review. Paper presentations should be approximately 20 minutes long, to be followed by 5-10 minutes of comments and half an hour of Q&A.

Projectors will be available in every room, but you should plan to bring your own Bluetooth speakers if you will require audio for your presentation.

You will be required to indicate whether you would like to be considered for a travel grant (student or Chayes) in the submission form. Do not indicate your interest in a travel grant in the submission itself.

Prior to submission, please be sure to review the conditions of acceptance in the CFP and the information on Travel Grants and eligibility.

Items of Note

Membership: Non-members may submit papers or panel proposals, but must join the ASA within thirty days of acceptance of their contribution to avoid removal from the program. All participants must be ASA members and register for the meeting.

Attendance: All presenters must be able to attend in person. It is against ASA policy to have Zoom presentations.

Projectors will be available in every room, but you should plan to bring your own Bluetooth speakers if you will require audio for your presentation.
